Client side testing with firefox Addon

Selenium IDE is an integrated development environment for Selenium scripts. It is implemented as a Firefox extension, and allows you to record, edit, and debug tests. Selenium IDE includes the entire Selenium Core, allowing you to easily and quickly record and play back tests in the actual environment that they will run.

Requirements:

  1. Firefox Browser
  2. Selenium IDE http://release.seleniumhq.org/selenium-ide/1.8.1/selenium-ide-1.8.1.xpi
  3. Sel Blocks (for Selenium IDE)

Optional:

  1. Web Developer extension

Installation & Configuration:

  1. Open the site in Firefox
  2. Install the module
  3. Visit the Presets list page /admin/structure/drulenium/presets
  4. add new Preset /admin/structure/drulenium/presets/add
  5. After adding the preset(Test Case) it can be seen here /drulenium/tests/list
  6. Copy the test link & open the link in new tab/window or use https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/locallink/
